Thing 23 - Wrap-up

Participating in the 23 Things learning program was very useful. I now know so much more. I'm glad I had this opportunity. Thanks to the University Library 23 Things team!

Thing 21 - Wordle & Thing 22 - LibraryThing

Wordle is neat. I did have a little trouble when I tried to print it out.

LibraryThing is great. Now I can start keeping track of books that I've read.

Week 12, Thing 19 - Online Mapping & Thing 20 - GIS

Online mapping was fun. I enjoyed creating the "Community Walk". I think this is a useful tool.

Week 11 - Thing 17 - Social Bookmarking and Thing 18 - Widgets

It is amazing how many different choices there are available for Social Bookmarking. There is so much to learn. Maybe in time I would find one of the options useful for me.

I have added a countdown widget to my iGoogle account. Can't believe we are almost to the end of 23 Things!

Week 10, Things 15 & 16 - Social Networking and Twitter

I have been using Facebook for awhile now. When my son was traveling in Asia it was a great way to communicate with him and see his photos. It has provided an opportunity for people to get in touch with me that I haven't heard from for years.

I opened an account on Twitter. Don't know how much I will use it but it is good to know how.

Week 9, Thing 14 - Photosharing

This is neat but had some trouble getting through the steps needed. I had to seek help from Leah once again. It is fairly simple once you get through it the first time. I'm going to owe Leah a lot of cookies!!
